Through all the odds I did make it last nite, it was nice to see some of the regulars again .. dave85, gaz, ginge and amy(? think that was her name) and the other guy I had seen before but didn't know his name. :)

Wasn't a huge amount of bikes there because there were a few light spots of rain, and obviously that's too much for most bikers. But there were quite a few nice bikes to check out, including about 5 DT125s and a nice DRZ400SM and a KTM duke.

Was actually a good turnout last night, I was surprised. More so because I turned up last week on foot when there was a little light rain, and there was hardly anyone there apart from about 4 police vehicles (and no one I knew).

So last night I saw gaz, dave85, codeman, ginge, amy, dean, dave's friends timo69 and jordan .. and quite a few others. Think it was because it was dry and warm(ish), probably one of the last big turnouts we'll get before winter proper sets in. Still no davey boy though!!

There were still loads of police, and one police car decided to cunningly park smack bang in the middle of the slip road in the turnoff off the A38 into bassett's pole with his lights off, which I thought was a bit stupid not to mention dangerous .. don't get me wrong I understand they are there to deter stunts but it's not much good if they cause an accident themselves.

And I got to see there's a nice DRZ400SM I've seen there a few times now up close with another nice example of an FMX650, which was good as I'm trying to decide which to go for as a next bike. :geek:

Can't see me turning up this week as it will undoubtedly snow again : /

Also had a personal issue with one or two of the "group"

kinda sick of childish behaviour from 20+ year olds anyhow.

when the summer comes... will most probably start either finding new people to hang around with OR....

start going to a certain place that Josh goes... mowbary???

f***ed me right off on saturday night Dean and Amy have

I'm going to pop along tonight, as at last I seem to have tuesday evening free, and the weather doesn't look too bad. Probably be there around 6.30pm. :)

Ah it's ok, it was pretty cold, and my glasses / visor were getting so fogged up I can imagine it would have been dangerous for guys travelling in any distance. I didn't know I was going till last minute anyway, and for my sins I got a telling off from the gf on the phone while I was there, because if I was too tired to visit her that night, I must also be too tired to go to bassett's!
